Rendered from the template's own layout with made-up numbers for Northgate Outdoor Supply, a company that doesn't exist.

What it answers

  1. What does a monthly report deck need, in what order?
  2. How do I show KPIs against target without it looking like a spreadsheet?
  3. Where do I put the bad news so it's read, not buried?
  4. How do I update the charts next month without rebuilding them?
  5. Which layout suits this month: one chart and commentary, two charts, or a table?

Putting your numbers in

No data file to link. Each chart carries its own numbers.

  1. 1

Duplicate the file and read slide 11 once.

  2. 2

On each chart, right-click > Edit Data and type or paste the month's numbers.

  3. 3

Type over the numbers and titles, and write the commentary. Two sentences each is plenty.

  4. 4

Replace the footer text with your own, then delete slide 11 and whichever of the alternative slides 12 to 14 you don't need. Next month, duplicate the file and start again from step 2.

Support
Questions go to office@primedigitallabs.com. We usually reply within 2 working days.
What support covers
Support covers how the template works and anything that's broken. Rebuilding it around a different data structure is custom work, and we're happy to quote for that.

Probably not for you if

  • You want charts linked live to an Excel file. These hold their own data on purpose; linked charts break when files move.
  • Your company has a strict brand template already. Copy our slide layouts into it, or use yours.
  • You present in Google Slides. The charts become pictures there.
  • Monthly Reporting Pack

Also in the Monthly Reporting Pack: 3 templates for €59 instead of €73.

Questions people ask about this one

Can I link the charts to my Excel dashboard?

PowerPoint lets you paste charts from Excel as linked, and you can. We ship them unlinked because linked charts break the moment someone renames a folder.

What's the "Sample content, fictional" footer?

Every slide carries a footer saying the content is a sample: the company in the deck, Northgate Outdoor Supply, doesn't exist. Replace the footer with your own text.

Is there a version with my own KPIs already in?

No, the KPIs are yours to name. If you'd like us to set it up from your numbers, we'd do that as a template tune-up, from €290.
